Description:

Rob Wagoner - Calculating Business Days Using a Date Dimension Table

Session Abstract
In this session, we will look at how to find the number of business days that occur between two dates.  Additionally how we can define workdays to be anything other than the standard Monday through Friday workweek.  We will also look at how to add and subtract a number of days from any given date to find out what the resultant business day will be.  Finally, we will look at some of the drawbacks of this method and why it is not right for all scenarios.
